The conference venue (Linnaeusgebouw, Heyendaalseweg 137) is some 5 km from the city centre. A sensible policy is to find a place within walking distance of the conference venue or rely on the campus shuttle from the Nijmegen railway station, which is 1,5 km from the city centre. At the Nijmegen railway station, you can rent bicycles [link  http://www.ns.nl/en/travellers/about-your-trip/travelling-by-train/to-and-from-the-station/by-bicycle-or-moped.html] by the day.

-          Hotel Mercure (Accor Hotel in Nijmegen [link www.accorhotels.com]) is next door to railway station, with the bus stop for the campus shuttle (Heyendaal shuttle, aka Line 10) just to the right of the hotel. It takes 10 minutes to get to bus stop Huygensgebouw: the conference venue (Linnaeusgebouw) is just across the street. -          Hotel Courage [link http://www.hotelcourage-waalkade.nl/] is situated on the river front. From there, the conference venue is 3,5 km (35 min). You could walk to the central railway station (2 km, 20 min.) and get on the campus shuttle (Heyendaal shuttle, aka Line 10). See further details under Hotel Mercure.

Budget Hotel in city centre has a good reputation. It is 3.3 km (30 min) from the Conference center, and 2 km (20 min.) from the Nijmegen railway station.
